Starry Night Wedding Card Using My Monthly Hero Kits

Today's card is for a special wedding we went to last night - couldn't share until now.  The Bride chose a starry night theme so I mimicked her invitation.  Thanks to My Monthly Hero subscription, I did not have to buy anything new - just looked through previous kits.  Found what I needed in the August 2017 and January 2018 kits!

Starting with Neenah Solar White 110 lb Cardstock, I stamped swirling stars from the August 2017 My Monthly Hero Kit with Versa Mark Ink and sprinkled Ranger White Embossing Powder then used my Marvy Embossing Heat Tool.  Next, I applied Salty OceanBroken China and Faded Jeans Distress Ink, blending well.  To add shimmer I sprayed Sheer Shimmer Spritz.  Now for my favorite part - die cutting!  The Stamps of Life Stitched Rectangles die for the base, the & is from the January My Monthly Hero Kit and the mr and mrs is cut 3 times and stacked with Bold Alphabet from Altenew. Next I inked the edges of & with Tumbled Glass distress ink, the back ground with Black Soot distress oxide ink and outlined the mr and mrs with Gelly Roll Stardust Pen.

To pull it together, I mounted the background onto fun foam with Scor-Tape, adhered to card base, placed glued my elements in place and added star sequins that came in the August 2017 kit with Multi Matt Medium.  Inside I used a sentiment from Justrite Stamps - Elegant Celebrations.

Have a great day and keep crafting!

Wedding Card

My Daughter wanted a special card for her friends who are getting married at the Butterfly Conservatory this coming weekend.  She showed me the invite and told me to have fun.  So this is what I came up with.  I printed the sentiment and their names on the computer and cut using Spellbinders die.  A Martha Stewart border punch and butterfly punch embellish the embossed surface.  A homemade bow add sparkle when it's made from sheer ribbon.  The butterflies are sprayed with glitter.

Love Card

This card is for a Wedding.  Today.  Nothing like waiting till the last minute to get it done.  I've been playing with my Gypsy and the love image is from the Stamped Cartridge.  I stretched it a bit so the size is a little more than 3".  Glimmer Chalks color the heart and the white layer is embossed with hearts.  Pop dots under love gives a little more diminsion.  I do love these little velvet flocked flowers!

Attendent

Gosh, these pics are from 1987.  My good friend Paula got married and since I was as big as a house pregnant...she asked me to be her Brides Attendent.  I think I was about 7 1/2 months along at the time.  Anyways, I ran across these pics and decided they need a page.

I tried something a little different this time, I cut thin strips of green cardstock and wound them tightly around a thin round filing tool and stretched them out.  Using Zots tiny dots to each end help them stay put.

Inkadinkado stamps in the corner with dots of green stickles around the boat load of flowers.

The background is DCWV white core paper that I distressed and inked.  There are papers from My Mind's Eye and DCWV and a few others.  All the brads are from the Paper Studio.  Even Martha Stewarts vine punch made it on this lo.
