Some really old silly pics!

Yep, that's me on the left with my finger up my nose. The really silly part is Kevin has a darker mustache because I colored it with my mascara!

We were 15 and 16 here and it was fun finding these pics and even more fun scrapping them.

All products are either BG Sugar Rush or matching Bazzill.

Of course I used my gypsy, cricut and yes, lyrical letters cartridge for the title work.

And what's a layout without a little stickles? It seems I can't keep those little dots from slipping away to no where land when removing them before placing them on the page. So I usually end up with a stickles dot!
The hearts are all hand cut with those wonderful Tonic Scissors and doodled with Micron pens.

I'm sorry to those who I offend with this next statement - Buttons without fibers or something just look NAKED. Some floss and fiber completes this lo. Thanks for looking

Great On Line Scrapbooking Store

I love shopping on line for scrappy supplies but get completely bummed out when the shipping costs totally wreck my budget. www.scrapbookpal.com has free shipping on orders of $25 or more. How cool is that!!!!

Another Reason why I love my Gypsy

Did you know that with the original Cricut Personal Cutter the smallest size you can cut is 1 inch? Using the Gypsy you can resize your image/font smaller. That's just one more reason to get this Fabulous tool! The feature I love the most is Welding (or smooshing the letters together) so your letters come out as one piece for SUPER FAST Titles!!!!

Don Juan is the Cartridge I used on this layout. The black title was a little harsh against this light blue so I did a little pen work around the letters.

In the right hand corner is the smaller than 1 inch date. The title is cut at 1.5 inches and welded together.

I used the Martha Stewart Loops Punch Around the Page for the small frame. I have waited a long time to get my hands on this set! A little Cat's Eye ink and some Baby Blue Stickles, tada!

More Lyrical Letters

I'm really loving cards with Kraft Paper and was able to whip these two out so quickly!

The Spellbinders Nestabilities Label 8 dies are perfect for cards. I cut two and then doodled around the edge.

I used the Lyrical Letters for both sentiments. Love that both were a 1 button option. By pressing the shift key I was able to get the flower/stem/leaf cut in another color. (I used Copic markers to color the stem and leaf.) A gem and a bit of Baby Blue Stickles finished off the flower. A little stamping and I'm done!

Again, I used the Lyrical letters cart for the leaves and Orange Peal Stickles for the knot in the bow.

Love those one touch cuts!!!

Scrapbookpal.com Design Team Entry

I'm just loving the versatility of the Lyrical Letters Cartridge. On this lo I used the Jumbo key for Balls and Loop Dee Loo for the Galore. You can hardly tell, but I put crystal stickles all over the Galore.
Sizzix is another fav of my and I used that for the hearts across the bottom. Tim Holtz's Clear Rock Candy is on some of the hearts. My big crop o dile help put the metal grommets on.

Tin Curlers

I had a lot of fun doing this layout, which is very unusual for me. I gravitate toward bright colors, and heritage lo make me think way too much!
I've had this picture of my Mom for years. I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do with it until I saw these Prima Flowers on a page over at Scrapbook.com. My page evolved from there.
The journaling is my Mom's and it's a story about making their own curlers out of Pet Milk cans. They were very poor when she was little.

You have got to love Stacy Julian! I know I do!!! My mess of willy nilly albums finally got to me. I have over 30 albums is many formats. The mini albums I left as is. But the rest are now in the Library Of Memories System that Stacy came up with.

I bought her book "Photo Freedom" and it gave me all I needed to organize. My biggest fear was how was I going to incorporate the strap hinge albums with the top loading. Guess what? Some top loading pages are wide enough to handle them. Yayyyyy!!!!!
I chose to use these American Crafts Albums with the window cut outs. I used my gypsy to weld together the titles that slide right into the pocket. The glare on the pic is from the transparancy that I put in front to protect the title.

Here are my albums!!! I just need one more black one for the place we go, right now it's in an old 3 ring binder. I used the circle tags from avery to list more specific info. Like in the Pink All About Us, there is one that is All about Ellie, etc. In the things we do Green albums I have tags for Celebrations, Holidays and Christmas. (It seems for holidays I only do lo's for Easter and Halloween - Guess what's on my to do list???)

Regarding the book, if you want to purchase it, it is extremely hard to find. You basically have to find a store that still has it in stock - amazon only has first editions that are big $$$$. My archivers had 2 copies last I saw.
