Hello all,
Today I have a quick Graduation Card. Well, quick if you have done several deco foil backgrounds prior! The background is done with Deco Foil Transfer Gel, Gold Foil, Radiating Rays Stencil and a Laminator. Hero Arts makes several Stamp and Cut Sets and the Congrats Stamp and Cut is definitely one you should have in your stash! It's versatile to handle several occasions and even has tiny sequin stamps. I cute a piece of Neenah Classic Crest 110lb card stock and ran it through my Sizzix Big Shot with Stitched Circle Dies. Then using Tuxedo Black Ink I stamped the sentiment. Using black cardstock with Sizzix Adhesive Sheets, I die cut the word congrats three times and stacked them. To bring the card together, I trimmed a piece of fun foam to raise my die cut circle and used Nuvo Deluxe Adhesive to attach to foiled piece. Using those Sizzix Adhesive Sheets really saves some time stacking up thin dies. I did use my Powder Tool on the adhesive die that overhangs the circle to deactivate the stickiness. Since my card base is black, I did line the inside with a 4x51/4 piece of white card stock. This what I won't have to search for my favorite White Uniball Gel Pen.
Have a great day and keep on crafting!

Using up more of those Deco Foil Backgrounds
Hello all, hope you having a great day!
This card uses the most wonderful products (in my opinion) - Deco Foil! Love love love it for adding that beautiful shine! Spread some Deco Foil Transfer Gel over my Large Flower Stencil (Hero Arts) and let it dry. Then placed Silver Deco Foil over the dry gel and ran it through my Laminator. The best part is revealing the gorgeousness when you peel up the foil sheet!
I stamped with Versafine Ink using Thankful Heart Stamp Set (Simon Says Stamps) and sprinkled Clear Embossing Powder (Ranger) and heat set. I then used my trusty Big Shot (Sizzix) and Stitched Squares Die Set and Square Die Set (Both from The Stamps of Life) to cut the sentiment and shadow. For a final touch I pulled a button from my stash that I made out of Filmo Clay a while ago. It's dotted with a White Uniball Pen and tied with scrappers twine. Both the sentiment and button are raised with foam tape.
Have a great day and keep crafting!

Thank You with a Heart Wave
Hello all,
Today's card is made with a die from Memory Box. It's called Heart Wave and I bought it at a Creative Keepsake Convention. The booth that I found it does not have an online store....
After I ran the die through my Sizzix Big Shot twice, I used Sizzix Adhesive Sheets to apply the die cut and Ultrafine Glitter back into another cardstock of a different color. You can see one white inlaid heart, that's because I like it there! Yep!
The sentiment is from March 2018 My Monthly Hero from Hero Arts. I die cut the sentiment from Deco Foil Toner Sheet and placed a piece of Rose Gold Deco Foil over it and ran it through my Laminator. I'm just loving that Rose Gold! I used Multi Matte Medium to adhere the sentiment. A few drops of Glossy Accents finishes my card.
I hope you have a great day and keep crafting!

Deco Foil Thankful Card
Hello All, Hope you are having a good day! Remember those deco foil backgrounds I showed on Instagram? Today's card makes use of one of those backgrounds called Botanical Dream along with Deco Foil Transfer Gel, Rainbow Deco Foil and my Marigold Laminator.
The sentiment is from Thankful Heart Stamp Set (Simon Says Stamps) and stamped on Neenah Classic Crest 110lb with Versafine Ink then sprinkled with Clear Embossing Powder (Ranger) and heat set with a Marvy Heat Tool. Using my Big Shot (Sizzix) I ran the sentiment through with Stitched Rectangles Die Set (The Stamps of Life). Some scotch foam tape raises the sentiment and Crystal Stickles are applied for some sparkle.

Deco Foil for a True Shine Card
A while back I posted a clearance haul I found at Hobby Lobby. Todays card features Rose Gold Deco Foil and I'm just delighted with the results!
I decided to do several background pieces with the Gel and foil so I set up a "hinge" to make things easier. First I placed two pieces of tape in an "L" shape on my surface. This was to align my card stock. Then placed my stencil on top and secured just the top of the stencil down.
My Neenah Classic Crest 110lb card stock was aligned with the "L" shape and secured on the side with Purple Tape then I placed my Botanical Dream Stencil (TCW) and secured at the top. More tape was placed on the stencil to mask off the unused areas. Then a thin layer of Deco Foil Transfer Gel was applied with a plastic palette knife with excess being returned to the jar. This was set aside to dry while I continued with more backgrounds. Once dry I applied Rose Gold Deco Foil and placed in a folded parchment paper and ran through my Laminator (This is the new one I just purchased -arrives today. My old one (fairly new) was recalled). It is such a beautiful thing removing the carrier sheet to reveal that amazing shine! To bring the card together, the awesomely shiny background is adhered to the Kraft card base. Seam Binding (Hug Snug) was wrapped and tied with a bow. A Tim Holtz button is attached with a glue dot after I snipped off the back sewing piece. The sentiment is from Choose Happy (SSS) and is stamped with Versafine Ink and sprinkled with Clear Embossing Powder (Ranger) and melted with my Marvy Heat Tool. Now for my trusty Big Shot (Sizzix)! I ran the sentiment through with Stitched Squares and Square Die Set both from The Stamps of Life. The Kraft sentiment paper is inked with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink and finally raised with Scotch Foam Tape.
Have a great day and keep crafting!

Thermoweb Deco Foil Haul Clearance and My First Try
Thursday was a big day for me. If you've read my profile, you'll see that I am a Heart Transplant Recipient times two! Part of being a good steward of this most precious gift is taking care of my health, including daily medication, quarterly blood work and a yearly check up. Thursday was the check up, and this year it was just a stress echo and an office visit. Everything went well and my heart and health is good (Prayers of Thanks). Six years ago, it didn't go well and the result was I needed another transplant....So these annual check ups run my nerves through the ringer. What does this have to do with Deco Foil???? Since we were out of there quick, hubby and I ran some errands, including a stop at Hobby Lobby. I've been watching YouTube Videos and really want to dip my toes in this shiny sparkly goodness. Imagine my surprise when I saw all the Deco Foil on CLEARANCE!!! I cleared the shelf, yep, proud of it too! Bought the Adhesive Pen too with a 40% coupon also.
Ain't that so pretty?
Since I just received my March Monthly Hero Kit plus the Bold Graphic Confetti Die which was an add on - I was ready to play!! So here's the card I came up with:
This month's kit is all about basics and I love those word stamps and dies. The Bold Graphic Confetti Die has Spun Sugar Distress Stain over it and the words were stamped with Cloud Ink (Stamps of Life), corresponding dies were ran through the Big Shot (Sizzix) and then raised with foam tape. Three layers of Neenah Classic Crest 110lb were cut with the hugs die. A generous coat of Adhesive Pen (Deco Foil) coats one layer, 30 seconds later a piece of Rose Gold Deco Foil cut to fit was placed on top. Inside a folded piece of parchment paper and through my laminator it went. I was doing my happy dance when I peeled the foil away! I stacked those layers with Multi Matte Medium (Ranger) and adhered it to my card. Gold and white bakers twine (Paper Studio) finished my card. Now all I need/want is some Transfer Gel and Toner Sheets (Deco Foil)! For now....
